Such bold bright colors for this painting honoring tears. Question…how did you paint “actual” tears? Love your energy and art Callahan!

    Hey ms.Ruth,
Think I might have said an ‘image of tears’. Not sure why I used the word actual. Thanks for your comments, I love the color in this one as well. Fun prompt for sure.

Okay! It was a “wording” thing with probably an emotional veritas behind it. I thought it would be awesome to paint with actual tears. But got it!

I am sure there some who have painted with actual tears. Or crying while painting. Interesting impression of the wording. Sign of a creative mind at play.

I love this image Callahan…the colors are wonderful and I agree with Ruth…it would be fantastic to actually ‘paint’ with tears but would have to be eating an onion or awfully sad…It looks like you have a lot of texture on the image…do you or is it the high resolution of the photo..either way I like it…

hi Darlene, thanks for your comments. Not sure I’d want to paint with tears but could be interesting, maybe like the movie: like water for chocolate, it would evoke the feeling felt while crying the tears.
